Cool and dry, chiffon is a woven fabric that is made from twisted filament spun yarns. This gives it a certain amount of stretch so that there is a little give in your custom chiffon scarf. Super lightweight, and so very airy, chiffon has a smooth texture which naturally flows through your fingers. 

The mesh-like quality of Chiffon - which is mainly due to the intricate weave - leaves it very sheer, almost transparent. This thin body can sometimes lead to the edges of your custom chiffon scarf becoming slightly wavy, giving it a truly feminine aesthetic.  

Handmade to order by our specialists, everything is printed, cut and sewn in-house, in the UK. Using long-lasting print methods, you are guaranteed a wash-proof, scratch-proof, fade-resistant personalised chiffon scarf.

Recyclable tin case available to display your exquisite scarf. Measuring at 220 mm x 160 mm x 24 mm and 280g, the tin is sturdy and ready to design or leave plain. The ideal way to store or gift your beautiful scarf. 

Please note, as your scarfs are handmade by real people, there may be slight variances in dimensions, measurements, and shape. Due to the natural softness and delicate nature, the edges of your bespoke scarf may be wavy. A predictable amount of shrinkage may occur, this is normal, and the average shrinkage is only 2-8%. All our scarfs come with a mandatory care and origin label, this can be customised if you simply create an account and use our simple branding station.  

Our Cashmere Wool Fabric is expertly handwoven from these distinctive fibres on traditional looms. The intricate process may result in minor flaws, imperfections, and irregularities in the weave. You may occasionally notice small white unprinted areas, which arise when fabric fluff falls off during processing, revealing the underlying fabric. A tolerance of approximately 1-2 dots per m² is deemed acceptable. Please be aware that the nature of this material can cause hemmed edges to have a charming scalloped appearance, and they may not perfectly align with the straight lines in your design.

  • Paris Chiffon

    Hand wash only and hang to dry. Do not wring or put in the tumble dryer. Steam and iron safe.

  • Mulmul Soft Muslin

    Can be washed in the machine on a standard 30° cycle. Due to the delicate nature of the fabric, some pulls are to be expected and this is not out of the ordinary. The naturally loose yarn can cause colour variations. This does not impact the quality of the scarf, however adds to the natural charm.

  • Real Silk Satin

    We recommend dry cleaning only. Can be hand washed with silk detergent and cold water. Safe to iron but not with the use of steam.

  • Silk Sensation

    Can be washed at 30°, and tumble dryer safe on low heat. Can be ironed with low heat. Do not wring.

  • Real Georgette Silk

    We recommend dry cleaning only. Can be hand washed using cold water with silk detergent. Safe to iron but do not use steam. Expect 2-8% shrinkage.

  • Silk Sensation

    A 90 gsm lightweight poly alternative to silk.

  • MulMul Soft Muslin

    A 55 gsm poly-blend with a net-like open weave.

  • Real Silk Satin

    100% natural silk, 85 gsm fabric.

    Baby hem - A tiny type of hem, very narrow and rolled.
    Three-thread overlock - A type of hem which is sewn over the edge of the fabric.
